Watercolour - It's Black & White

Louise Turpin is a local graphic designer, illustrator, artist and educator. She works in many different media but especially pen and watercolour as well as painting in oils and acrylics.
Louise is a PACS Committee Member and has been organising the PACS artist demonstration programme for 7 years. She very much enjoys meeting local artists and crafts people. She loves to sketch and paint outside and in nature, especially by the sea. She has a loose and fresh painting style, preferring energy, colour, character and movement to static accuracy.
Louise teaches local art groups on a variety of subjects and is looking forward to returning to PACS at the Triangle Centre in January to share her experience with watercolour painting.
I am looking forward to coming to the Triangle Centre in January when we will be experimenting with mixing perfect white and black shades to give your watercolour paintings that 3-dimensional effect.

About the Workshop:
Louise has posed a number of questions about this potential workshop for us to consider:
- Do you struggle with white objects?
- Are you keen to mix warm and cold shadow areas to improve your 3-D impression?
- How do you mix a perfect ‘black’ in watercolour?
So why not sign up for the answers! And time on the day to practise them with Louise’s tuition.
Materials to Bring:
For those who sign up before December a full suggested materials list will be provided. In time for Christmas presents to yourself.
