Join us!

Some of you who are reading this will already be members and will be well aware of our new programme. However we know that we have lots of other followers who are interested in our activities so here is a reminder to take a look at our events schedule on the website.

You will notice that the new workshop programme is currently password protected to allow members to book at leisure and the first two sessions are in fact now full. Public access from February 14th will allow non-members to book places. If you would like to benefit from free access to all of our monthly meetings as well as discounted workshop bookings (as well as several other benefits) you are most welcome to join using the easy pay button on our ‘Join us’ page.http://petersfieldartsandcrafts.org.uk/membership/. Our membership secretary will then send you a membership package.

This coming Thursday (January 31st) is the first monthly meeting of the year and we will be welcoming artist Stephen Cheeseman to demonstrate abstract painting using acrylics. As usual there is also time for a hot drink and chatting. Everyone is welcome to come along, non-members simply pay £2 at the door. If you are a newcomer please make yourself known to a committee member (they are usually wearing name badges!) so that they can welcome you.

Come along to catch up with old friends and hopefully make some new ones too!

The Art Group Collective – 2018 exhibition August 25th-27th

A small group of PACS members is having an exhibition at the Petersfield Physic Garden this weekend (August 25th-27th) under the Hampshire Open Studios umbrella.

The artists are Mary Herdman, Mike Wallace, Sarah Wallace and Katrin Eagle and each will be bringing their own distinctive style of work to the show. Hanging work will include paintings in oil, watercolour, mixed media, needle-felt and woven tapestry. There will also be a large selection of scarves, bags and mittens made from locally sourced hand-spun and hand-dyed wool and alpaca. Cards and prints form all artists will be available.
